The 8-foot bed for a 2014-2019 Chevy Silverado is an 8’2″ or 97.6-inch “long box” available on specific configurations, especially Regular Cabs. It’s important to note that the 2019 model year is a split year, meaning some 2019 models are part of the older generation with an 8’2″ bed, while the new body style has an 98.2″ bed.

Bed length:The 8-foot bed is officially 8 feet and 2 inches (97.6 inches) long on the 2014-2018 models.

2019 models:For 2019, some “Limited” models carry the older body style with an 8’2″ (97.6″) bed, while the new body style has a slightly different 98.2″ bed.

Availability:This long box was primarily available with Regular Cab configurations on the Silverado 1500, 2500 HD, and 3500 HD models.

“Dually” option:An 8-foot bed was also available for the 3500 HD “Dually” models, which have two rear wheels on each side.

Freight Shipping Information
- All truck beds & cabs ship via insured flatbed trailer to business or residential locations. Truck beds can be unloaded with just about any piece of equipment or 1-3 guys, they only weigh 3-400 lbs.
- Beds get loaded upside down with padding between them and the trailer.
- Truck beds & cabs have a 1-4 week handling time depending on your location.
